T206 holders will be given priority access to all future releases and the T206 cards will serve as the primary destination of value return to the project.

Historical Significance

The T206 collection, named after the catalog designation first used, is widely considered to be the most significant sports card set of all-time. Included in cigarette packs from 1909-1911, the 524 card set includes cards of Ty Cobb, Cy Young, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, and many of the other greats from that era.

The set includes Honus Wagner, of which fewer than 60 cards are believed to still exist, and is typically listed as the most valuable sports card in existence (selling for over $7M in 2022).

The T206 set is generally considered the first widely available sports card set, and is a grail for many collectors.

Mint Information

The T206 Holder Pass collection consists of 500 cards representing a random assortment of the 524 T206 Cards in the 1-10 Grading Scale:

Poor(P), Good(G), Very Good(VG), Very Good-Excellent(VG-EX), Excellent(EX), Excellent-Near Mint(EX-NM), Near Mint(NM), Near Mint-Mint(NM-MT), Mint(MT), Gem Mint(GEM-MT).  Condition is represented by a combination of texture, grain, and other variations to the card.

In addition to condition, card traits include quality of player (Common, Star, Hall of Fame) and team. Condition and quality will influence future airdrops in some way.
